Kriya Yoga Intensive &
Yoga as Therapy Teacher Training
The AGNI Intensive embraces a healing approach and was created for wise investigation and special insight into the ancient art, sacred texts, inner teachings and personal experiential relationship to the luminous practices of Kriya Yoga and Therapuetic Yoga.
AGNI is a dynamic process, an environment in which to uncoil, developed for experienced students, therapists of all modalities, yoga teachers of all lineages and healers of all traditions who are ready to deepen their education and skills in Yoga as Therapy. By refining intelligent teaching methodologies, a balanced and healthy context emerges for Kundalini & Kriya Yoga; Hatha Asana sequences; Vinyasa compositions for health and radiance; Meditation, sacred sound & Mantra; and energy work practiced with close attention to the principals of inner & outer alignment.
Guided by Lea Kraemer, founder and director of PRANA MANDIR Yoga, the AGNI Intensive was developed over a nine years of period of intense study and spiritual research. Presented in NYC for the first time in 2001, the course takes students through an intricate, authentic process of education, with 13 course modules each shinning light on a specific theme or journey into the principals Kriya Yoga, healing and Ayurveda.
Currently, AGNI is held both online and in-person in Altadena, California. Students go through the Yoga as Therapy program at their own pace, which came about in the Intensive's evolution over the pandemic in 2020 - 2021. Previously, from 2013 - 2000 the Intensive training was held in-person in various studio locations in Echo Park and Pasadena, CA, and only a 95hr component was available online with credit towards the completion of the training.
Our true focus for AGNI is the pure power of Prana, the conscious play of life-energy-breath-energy and grace of Sri Kundalini, the essential, divine Feminine source within us that pervades the entire Universe. AGNI offers its graduate teachers a resource of over 28 unique Yoga sequences including Pranayama, Meditation, Hatha and Ayurvedic Yoga to bring to their classes and clients.
