When & Where
Feb 18, 2024, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM PST
Ahiah Center for Spiritual Living, 150 N El Molino Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101, USA
The afternoon begins with yogic breath work to open the senses and bring peace to the is a "Breath Bath" and nourishes the internal system profoundly, moving conscious life-energy through the body and mind.
The heart of the program is the Kirtan, chanting mantras to create a vibrational cascade of healing. Kirtan is a form of community song and comes from the path called Bhakti Yoga, a direct experience of Universal Love. "An ancient practice, rhythmic repetition of poems, sacred prayers for the divine brings us closer to a state of pure, heart-centered consciousness".
A beloved Swami once said, "Every name is filled with countless powers. Sweeter than all sweet things, more auspicious than all good things, purer than all pure things, is the Name ( of the Divine )."
You don't have to know how to chant in Sanskrit or think you have a good voice for a wonderful Kirtan.
All voices join together, resonating and unfolding into a higher consciousness for healing energy.
